PRIVATE CLASSES

“A private lesson is a gift to myself”

Private Classes are very effective ways to develop your dancing skills.  Before the lesson starts one or more goals are been worked out between the student and the instructor. At the end of the lesson the student usually gets guide lines and exercises  how to continue their trainning. But remember that in a private lesson You are the boss and decide what you want out of it.

Yes, last night's private lesson was excellent! I know it was back to basics but was obviously needed because I felt much more confident about what I was doing by the end. The hints that Natalia gave me were really useful too. Plus, in the class afterwards with Dominic I received loads of compliments from different guys, including for the first time from Dominic an "that was excellent MJ!!!" and smiled throughout the routine. I was really happy!!!
Thank you! When my technique gets better I want to be able to interrperate the music the way you both do because it looks so beautiful. That's all !!!

Dear Miguel, I used to go to your salsa classes in bar Lorca a few years
ago, when i was living in London. Now I live in Spain again. I keep going to salsa classes in Spain, but I wanted to tell you that, after having several  teachers U are the best teacher !!!!!
I used to feel u were really interested in teaching us, like if u were doing
it because u enjoy ,thanks a lot,for showing me the salsa world.
My friend Burt, from Aruba, has given me your website, so I can learn

  First I would like to say your conception, your style of
dancing salsa is great. I don't have expresions to describe it, but I would say everybody must feel live in your dancing ... It is the most close to my imaginantion,feelings.  I visited your lessons at random in Bratislava congres autumn 2006. Originally Icame there to learn salsa cubana, but I was present also on one of your lessons there.  Now I know It was hudge pity I did not know about You before ;)  I looked for your
webside and this time I am watching free available short clips time after time -nice perfomances, lessons, figures ...

I just wanted to say a big thank you for the workshop on Saturday - it was great fun, I learnt lots and you both gave great hints and tips to improve style.
Miguel,- your style of teaching was perfect - a great sense of humour, relaxed but challenging. It gave me confidence and I didn't worry about getting things wrong!!
Thank you again - hope to make one of your lessons if ever in London and will certainly attend another workshop if you are in Bristol or Bath again.

Hi Miguel Great web site - interesting to hear what you\'re all about. And I particularly like your way of wanting to express the music in the way that you hear it. I hope that one day I can dance in such a way - would be my dream! So many people just seem to plod around the floor going through the moves, thinking they are dancing - and there is so much more to it.... Also very much enjoyed your workshop at Caterham last weekend. At last we were taught the fundamentals of dancing with someone and hearing the rhythm - invaluable! Looking forward to the next one. Also hoping to get to your Wimbledon class tomorrow night. See you then MaryJane

Just wanted to say thanks for the workshop yesterday at RISC in Reading, really enjoyed it. Its the first time I have actually been shown how to do double spins, so that was good. Looking foward to the next one. Again thanks for the good workshop.

Hi guys, had a great time tonight. Found it hard, but that's probably good.Styling was great,!!! Could do with more practice on spins techniques, stopping and prepping etc. Also may be some more moves with hand flick and catches as these can look nice but not often taught. Body isolation class for men and women would be a help too, it may help us all loosen up a bit more.

Just thought i'd drop you a mail to say how much we both enjoyed the styling yesterday. I've wanted to learn this style of Salsa for ages and am really pleased to have found a club which teaches it. I find the lessons really challenging, but you teach them in a really relaxed way that makes them so much fun.

Can't wait for tomorrow. Enjoy your day!

Hi Natalia,

We would like just to say thankyou for another great workshop!

To be honest when we found out it was going to be 2 hours of styling we thought 'HELP ME PLEASE!!!' but as always you made it enjoyable, I dont think Mum has ever wiggled so much in her life!
